My family and I went to the city and one of the places that we went to was Grill 21. Funny that I used this place as a competition restaurant during my menus project. We went here because my aunt wanted Filipino food and it’s the first one that popped up.
What’s pictured here is Crispy Pata which is basically a deep fried pig’s knuckle. If you are a fan of deep fried things, pork, or both then this is the dish for you. Seriously, one of my food memories was when I tried my first swig of beer, ate a piece of the crunchy skin in some Soy Sauce and Calamansi dip with Thai Chilies. I was five back then, and I spit the beer out thinking that it was the grossest thing ever.
